PMU Aftercare
Day 1 – Day 7 (Healing Phase)

For the first day - absorb excess fluid. For the first few hours after your PMU appointment, gently blot the treated area with a baby wipe or cooled boiled water & cotton pad to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this until oozing has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents buildup and scabbing.

1. Keep brows dry

Do not get your brows wet (no showers directly on the face, no swimming, no steam).

Avoid excessive sweating.

2. Clean gently (morning & night)
-
Wash your hands thoroughly.
-
Lightly dampen a cotton pad with cooled boiled water.
-
Gently wipe the brows to remove any lymph build-up.
-
Pat dry with a clean tissue — do not rub.
​
3. Apply ointment (morning & night)
-
After cleaning, apply a grain-of-rice amount of the recommended ointment.
-
Use a clean cotton bud.

Apply morning and night only.
-
Brows should look lightly moisturised, not greasy.

4. Do not touch or pick
-
Do not scratch, rub, or pick the brows.
-
Let flakes fall off naturally.

What to Expect
-
Brows may appear darker and bolder at first.
-
Mild redness, tenderness, and tightness is normal.
-
Flaking may occur between days 3–7.
-
Colour will soften and lighten as healing progresses.

Important Do’s & Don’ts (First 2 Weeks)
🚫 Avoid for 14 days:
-
Sun exposure & sunbeds
-
Saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools & hot tubs
-
Heavy sweating with intense exercise
-
Makeup on or around the brow area
-
Facials, peels, microneedling, or laser treatments

🚫 Avoid applying:
-
Retinol / Vitamin A
-
Acids (AHA, BHA)
-
Oils or thick creams
-
Self-tan on the face
